Sandy Robinson (Co Director from Scene) visited the village in October. His visit included a first class tour of the village, so he could get to know the area better. A selection of villagers also took part in a property sample house analysis. The data gathered by Sandy will help with the next stage of our assessment for the district heating scheme.
Sandy was particularly interested in homes which are older or unusual in size, shape or construction- which will help model a district heating scheme to a village like ours.
During Sandy's action-packed visit to the village, he gave a presentation to the HUH team.
The presentation covered the technical decision making process, any outstanding decisions to be made and a discussion about the principles and processes of securing heat supply agreements. Sandy's presentation is attached as a pdf.
